How important is English in our daily lives? Well, as we all know, English language is very useful in our daily conversation, giving instructions, and even in job interviews. If you have less skill in English, you will find it hard to look for a job and be career competitive in the modern world we are now living. English serves as a second language around the world for non-native English speakers. It helps us understand and conquer the challenges that we encounter every day. If you are proficient in English, you would absolutely be ready to attain the highest quality of life and get your desires. English is definitely important nowadays because all companies in different industries require applicants and even employees to be literate in English. For example, in a call center, all employees should have fluency in speaking, writing and following instructions in English. A teacher should also have better skill in English in all aspects, since English is used as their methods of instruction. All subjects or courses that we study in school are being taught in English. Fast-food employees are also required to speak in English in serving their customers. Secretaries of different companies are also required to set an appointment, send reports, and answer phone calls in English.
